Dissolve the whole pellet in 500 µl of the oxygen-free medium and inoculate one Hungate tube. From here inoculate two tubes in addition in serial dilution (1:10). Pre-reduced Columbia blood agar plates can be inoculated from the grown liquid culture in addition.
